SECTION CONCLAVE

April 7-9, 2017 will be a weekend to remember! Come join the Arrowmen of Section C-6A as we hold one of the premier Scouting events around. From Michigan to the southern tip of Indiana, nearly two hundred people will be traveling to Camp Buffalo, in Buffalo, IN for the 2017 Section Conclave. Will you be one of them? This year's event, hosted by Takachsin Lodge, is themed Wild Wild West and is sure to be a blast! Between ceremonies workshops, training sessions delivered by the experts, a barrage of activities, and the chance to go face-to-face against other lodges in competitions, there's sure to be something for everyone at Conclave. Check out some of this year's awesome offerings!

Training

This year, Nischa Chuppecat Lodge is putting together a top-notch list of training sessions for you to pick from! Here are some of the different sessions being offered at Conclave:

OA High Adventure - Learn more about the opportunities the OA provides at each national high adventure base from people who've been there themselves.

Enhancing Ceremonies with Science - Learn how to enhance your ceremonies and add to their atmosphere with fire and smoke.

Meet the Marshals - Come and meet our special guests - including Central Region Chief Taylor Giles - and hear about their Scouting experiences as they answer your questions!

Ins and Outs of Social Media (Adviser Session) - Lear how to use social media to your lodge's advantage. Explore best practices, things not to do, and resources to make sure you and your lodge are well prepared for this ever changing technology.

American Indian Activities

Kiskakon Lodge will be pulling out all the stops to bring a great AIA program to the 2017 Conclave! Whether you're a veteran dancer or a new Arrowman, there is something here for all levels!

Interested in taking part in a ceremonies competition? Talk to your lodge chief about entering a team!

Activities

Want to have some fun? Want to compete against the other lodges? Kiondaga Lodge has you covered with their activities at the Wild Wild West conclave.

Camp Buffalo is opening up its shooting sports facilities, so you'll have access to archery, rifle, shotgun shooting, and even black powder rifles!

Either go head-to-head with other lodges or just participate casually in LodgeBall, the fishing derby, basketball tournaments, "Lasso the Cow", and an Indiana hallmark - corn hole!

Patch Auction

Did you know anyone can participate in the Section Patch Auction? Did you know you can make a few dollars from the auction while you help the Section and clean out your old Scout items, camping items, etc? Learn more how you can participate as a seller or a bidder at the Section C-6A Patch Auction by downloading the materials here. For those who are selling items, you may wish to use this item pre-registration Excel spreadsheet for easy use of sending your item list to the committee. There will be a silent auction, a live auction, and many items will be youth bidders only!

Trading post items are online and available for order. Only small amounts of items will be available on-hand, so it is best to try and order ahead.
